Abstract
Connections between learning systems, candidate management, voucher management and exam delivery are so prevalent and necessary in today’s interconnected learning environment. What are the best practices that can be used to integrate these complicated, multi-vendor learning ecosystems? More and more, credentialing organizations rely on outside services, platforms, and tools to help manage the operation of their credentialing program. Yet, the underbelly of how these integrations get accomplished is a detailed process, requiring both internal and vendor resources collaborating and working together to accomplish a successful integration. Using a case study approach, this panel discussion will showcase three different IT certification programs and how they integrated certification program operation functionality using both internal and external resources to accomplish their goals. Topics will include: data design and workflow definition, integrating automated processes, resource availability and allocation, and usability testing.
