Gamification Presentation, Grant Hansen
ITCC Member Meeting
Thursday, February 20, 2014
11:00 a.m. Central
“Gamification” is a term that is tossed around a lot these days as a way to drive engagement in learning content and user communities, but what about using this technique to enhance assessment and certification?
Grant Hansen will be demonstrating a new and innovative learning platform called mLevel, which is used to create simple and engaging games, videos and tasks. Using various gamification techniques, mLevel enables you to drive deeper learner engagement by:
- Engaging learners where they are anytime on any device (phones, tablets, etc.)
- Motivating learner participation by incorporating fast and fun games
- Providing a “no-coding” environment that enables rapid development and deployment
- Use of sophisticated gaming and learning analytics about your learner population
The mLevel platform can be used to enhance technology roll-outs, core terminology learning, policy and process review, new product launches, product and marketing updates, on-boarding, business acumen, reviewing and assessing core competencies, highlighting best practices, new hire orientation, supporting traditional ILT programs and enhancement of technical certification through engaging practice tests and assessments.
Grant will be demonstrating the end user experience as well as what it takes to build and deploy Missions in a matter of minutes.
