Non-independent Test Taking on a Performance-Based Exam: Two Case Studies Look at Policies, Issues and Lessons Learned
Presenter: Elwood Fischer, , Certification Engineer & Global Customer Education, National Instruments
Abstract: When a set of responses to a performance-based exam appears too similar for coincidence, questions can emerge and finesse may be required in applying policies and procedures. For example, ‘How firm a response is warranted by the evidence?’ and ‘What response is most in line with our goals?’ This presentation will use two case studies to highlight how we recently navigated these challenges and to provide a prompt for shared thought and discussion.
